Hi, I’m Avalon Wasteneys, an Olympic gold and silver medalist in rowing, proudly representing Canada on the world stage.

Growing up on Vancouver Island, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, which inspired my passion for rowing and the pursuit of excellence in sport.

Competing at the highest level has taught me the importance of teamwork, resilience, and determination. Winning gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and silver at the Paris 2024 Olympics are milestones I’ll forever cherish, but I’m equally passionate about inspiring others to chase their dreams and embrace a life of dedication and balance.

Off the water, I’m honored to partner with brands that align with my values of health, wellness, and environmental stewardship. Whether I’m training, competing, or connecting with my community, I aim to be a positive role model and advocate for living a purposeful and active lifestyle.
